Sapphire Palms Motel

Loved the pool area, it was excellent. Wish the hours were a little earlier and later for opening and closing hours but that's ok. The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. We will definitely come back in the future

The staff were extremely kind and accommodating of my family. We stayed in winter and were relieved to find that the room had heat. The rooms were exceptionally clean and beds were comfortable. The rooms had complementary bottled water, tea, and coffee. I liked that we had assigned parking right outside our room with made it very convenient for bringing our belongings in/out. We wish we could have stayed more nights!

This was one of the cheapest options when booking a room for one night in The Entrance, just to sleep in (we had a function to attend all afternoon and evening) so I wasn’t expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised to find the room very clean with everything you need, the staff very friendly and hospitable, and a pool with a small waterslide and spa. It was cold so we didn’t swim but I know my young son would have been entertained for hours had it been warmer and us less time constrained. Very pleased with our experience overall, bed nice and comfy and they offer a free basic breakfast in the morning which is a lovely touch. Our room was right in front of this communal sitting/breakfast area so we did wake up to light chatter and talking but to be honest it didn’t bother us and we probably should of been out of bed anyway, check out was upon us! It is a cheap motel by most standards but I have to say that the owners have made an effort to keep the place clean and comfortable and seem willing to chat and help out wherever needed, not that we needed much. It was a tight park next to our room and I was touched that the staff all got up to move tables/ chairs and help direct me out when they saw I was having trouble. As someone who usually stays in large chain 4-5 star hotels I really don’t have any gripes with this place. You get what you pay for, for sure, but at this motel I feel like you get a little bit more considering it’s one of the cheapest options.

A basic but very comfortable room - which is what I wanted for an overnight stop.
